Top at the list is the long drawn out legal battle between Britney Spears and Kelvin Federline about the custody of their children. During September 2007, the court had announced the findings of the court case. Britney Spears was asked to undergo random drug tests and attend parenting counseling. Meanwhile, Britney and Kelvin were allowed to share the custody of the children on conditional basis.
Soon afterwards, Britney Spears was embroiled in a hit and run case without driving license. Britney Spears was booked for the charges by Los Angeles Police however, she was not arrested. Because of this incident, Britney Spears lost the physical custody of the children, with court ruling that Kelvin be allowed the full custody. Britney Spear had refused to part with the custody and ultimately the representatives of Kelvin had to seek the help of Police. Britney was later hospitalized for two days for psychiatric evaluations.
